The ACT Ombudsman is pleased to announce that our latest quarterly update is now available. This reports on activities of the ACT Ombudsman from 1 October to 31 December 2020.
This quarter we received 162 complaints and finalised 160, with the largest number of complaints received relating to ACT Corrective Services and Housing ACT.
Our achievements over the last quarter included:
- finalising an own motion investigation report into Parole processes at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC)
- publishing the 2019–20 annual reports on ACT Ombudsman functions, the Inspector of the ACT Integrity Commission and the operation of the Freedom of Information Act 2016
- commencing in-person outreach to the AMC.
