Our role, as the ACT Ombudsman, is to manage complaints about unfair treatment by ACT government agencies and provide the ACT Community with a group of specialist oversight functions. We work to influence systemic improvement in the ACT public service, to make the ACT better for everyone in the community.
We will consider your complaint carefully, promptly and where appropriate investigate your unresolved matter. If we cannot help you with your complaint, we will tell you who can and how you can contact them.
We have dedicated services for the Indigenous community and can assist non-English speakers through the Translating and Interpreter Service.
