ACT Quarterly Report released

The ACT Ombudsman is pleased to announce the release of our first quarterly report for 2020–2021. This quarter we received 159 complaints and finalised 135, with the largest number of complaints received relating to Housing ACT, followed by ACT Corrective Services.

We released an own motion investigation report about the transparency of commercial land valuations decisions made by the ACT Revenue Office. Our Office also made five recommendations to Housing ACT to improve its complaint handling practices following its participation in our Complaint Assurance Program.

Most of our community and agency engagement continued to be virtual, although we will soon begin to meet in person with some community stakeholders.
